Social Media Manager (Volunteer)
Grow 3DL's presence and bring our research to wider audiences across Instagram and LinkedIn.
We are looking for a creative and self-driven Social Media Manager to grow 3DL's presence and bring our research to wider audiences across Instagram and LinkedIn.
This is a voluntary, part-time contribution role, not an employment contract or paid internship. It is a light contribution role requiring a minimum commitment of around 3-5 hours per week.
A research lab turning data into public-interest tools.
3DL (Data Driven Decision Lab) is a non-partisan research lab at the intersection of data science, AI, geopolitics, and public policy.
We build datasets, analytical tools, and research products that help NGOs, institutions, and the public better understand global political alignment, governance, and emerging policy challenges.
Bringing research to wider audiences.
3DL produces reports, dashboards, and datasets that deserve a wider reach. The role bridges our research outputs and the audiences who can use them, across platforms and formats.
Questions the project may help answer
- How do we make complex geopolitical data engaging on social media?
- Which formats and platforms reach policy-interested audiences most effectively?
- How can we connect current events to our existing dashboards and datasets?
What you'll work on.
A hands-on communications role. You will transform research outputs into engaging content, maintain a content bank, and connect current events to our work.
